FLASH OF THE SPIRIT

I have been looking for this book and I cant find it in a bookstore so I guess I'm going to have to order it. Basically this is a book about how African civilizations reflected in the social and metaphysical traditions such as music, sculpture, textiles, architecture, religion,etc of black people in the United States, Cuba, Haiti, Trinidad, Mexico, Brazil and other places in the New World.It should be a good read.

JEAN-MICHEAL BASQUIAT IS INSPIRATION IN THE EMPORIUM

I absolutely adore this man. He gave street art a whole new meaning. NYC was his blank canvas and he gave it poetic graffiti. His work was original .They were very complex and mirrored who he was and that was a "Free Thinker" . He had the likes of Andy Warhol (another legend),Madonna,and Keith Haring.Basquiat was amazing.There are many things I can say about him but I recommend watching his documentary "THE RADIANT CHILD"

City of Lost Children

I freaking love this video .The CINEMATOGRAPHY was amazing it was having sex with my eyes .It had a steam punk theme but it certainly was not over done. Its like all the things I envisioned of in one movie.From the theme,setting,plot,comedy,cyborgs,mad scientist this was a bomb ass movie!!!!!!!

Inspiration in INDUSTRIAL ARCHITECTURE

Everytime I look at an industrial building I pay attention to it's architecture, in my opinion they have this complex design. Some even have this futuristic trait but it's taken with its dark and grungy coat of oil,rust,etc.In my interpretation they carry this antique quality whether the building is old or new . They look edgy ,dark ,grungy ,mysterious everything that I would want in my brand.

I am looking for a goggles like these to rock.It will certainly bring my whole look together.

The Mysterious Explorations of Jasper Morello

This video was very interesting because of its unique animation. I like the way the characters were black shadows.I would like to aee more aanimated films like this. The story was quite depressing though but it makes sense it fits with the dark and gloomy animation along with the Steampunk theme.

African Art Is One Of My Inspirations

I really find this particular image interesting because this mans headpiece shows so much craftmenship involved plus the fact that I like feathers helps my liking to. It makes me wonder if I can create something similar to this.*Heads to the textelier table*
